For some reason, I guess to the the climate and sales in the music indutry an artist won't release a song for each video. Thankfully people can come up with his or her very own vision of what the song would have been trasnlated to in a visual.

yonie.ethiopian.love Provides an equallly dope underaurated portatly of an artist video. They take "Devil in a New Dress" from Kanye West's hit album "My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy" and add life to one of the dopest tracks on the album.
Rap music has always been know pushing lines, breaking boundaries, going against the status quo, and creating new lanes to expanded the culture. Rap not just about the music any more it embodies a whole culture and can even be looked at as being what mainstream culture is. People that know me personally know I really take rap very seriously, and will debate the issue almost to the point where you have to add rap to list that includes: politics and religion. So to get to my point I digress here. If the culture is going to continue to expand and create new lanes it needs to stay fresh. At one point all you had was hardcore gangsta rap or a more conscious side political laden side. The tides turned and you added a more flashy side to that, but you still had the diverse and respective styles. Now we have some to a time in the era of the Drake’s, a rapper who not only raps but also sings equally as well about the emotions that he seems to be wearing on his sleeve. Good for the culture. We are at the time of the Wiz Khalifa’s & Curren$y’s, rappers that just want to count show money and smoke weed and wear nice cool streetwear brands and let that serve as their grounds and respective niches. Good for the culture. The last trend I see that is good for the culture and for the sake of argument, would be the Travis Porter’s and Roscoe Dash’s. Travis Porter is a group of and Dash is a solo artist who was at one time a Porter collaborator. The style they have is a upbeat I wanna party “sing-songy” for the lack of a better term, that is best when played loud and when you are in the club and wan to nod your head. Good for the culture. I bring up these three lanes taken for a reason. The change was good all of the above bought something fresh to the rap game outside of the guns, dope packs, and expensive Italian labels—aye there’s the rub. I may have spent close to my whole evening listening to new music. But the music didn’t sound very new or fresh to me. It seemed like a lot of artist are following the Drake, Wiz, & Travis Porter models in some form or another, and that’s not good for the culture. Since the lines are so blurred of what is rap and what is not and what is not original, new lanes have to be made like Drake and the above did.
Take Earl Sweatshirt’s “Earl” for example. This kid is fucking nuts, nuts meaning I think the kid might be crazy but he can truly rap. His subject matter is different but good. Good for the culture. Peep Below:
And that is the main reason I fucks with artist like Earl and Drake and Wiz. They are finding ways to be true the expanding culture by expanding it and creating new lanes. Of course there may have been dudes that were always heart broken and had talented both singing and rapping before Drake. And yes there were people that smoked copious amounts of weed and wore high-end streetwear labels before Wiz. The problem I see is that everyone feels that needs to be the new models for what everything should sound like as oppse to trying to find those new lanes. Just a rant. This was all written on the whim in almost a stream of counsioness but don't even worry about, thats Dope

Here is a dope remix of one Rihanna's 'Whats My Name" done by the good folks over Federation Sound featuring Vybz Kartel and produced by Rickey Blaze & Max Glazer. The song was hot before but this really gives it more of an island reggae feel, that lacked with the orignial featuring Drake. Drake's entire album "Thank Me Later" was leaked some time Tuesday night. But this gem with Young Jeezy was leaked a few weeks back and I think really sets the tone for the ablbum.
